The Clinton County Senior Services Levy has worthwhile requests for delivering services to seniors over the age of 60 in Clinton County. This funding is not intended to fund operations or support ongoing expenses. Uses of the funding could include capital projects, or start-up expenses for senior centers within Clinton County.
The Clinton County Senior Services Grant committee desires to issue funding for as many projects to support Senior Services across the county. Therefore, the requester is encouraged to seek other funding options to supplement the total cost of the requested funds.

Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants are non-profit organizations and/or senior centers providing services to Clinton County residents who are age 60 and older.
Requirements
- Project must benefit Clinton County residents who are age 60+
- Must be used for capital improvements, or other one-time expenditures.
- Applicant must be a nonprofit senior center or organization providing services to Clinton County residents 60+.
- Provide a minimum of two quotes for the item or service requested. These quotes must come from certified workers.
- If senior center operates in a community building not owned by the senior center, attach owner approval letter to seek grant funding for specified project.
- Demonstration of Financial Health and Stability, by providing either Independent Audit Report OR Prior year’s tax return (All Schedules + income and balance sheets).
Evaluation Criteria
- Value or benefit to improving the older adult’s overall wellbeing. For example, reducing social isolation, improving independence or wellness.
- Budget and budget narrative, cost effectiveness
- Service to geographically diverse areas of Clinton County.
