The Felix Martin Jr. Foundation Community Grants Program providing to support for programs identified by the Foundation’s Board of Directors and Advisory Council, the Community Grants program was established to support the many local organizations currently doing important work for the benefit of the residents of Muhlenberg County.
The Foundation sets aside funds for this competitive grants program annually. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, churches, public schools and government entities are invited to submit applications for new or expanded projects that address the educational, civic and cultural needs of the county.

- Projects fiscally sponsored by one of the organization types listed above.
Ineligibility
- Grants to individuals, including scholarships and fellowships,
- General fundraising events or sponsorships,
- Religious Organizations, except for programs which are non-sectarian and benefit a broad base of the community,
- Requests that substitute or replace funding that is the responsibility of government, or are intended to reduce the funding responsibilities of taxing authorities,
- Organizations that discriminate due to any other legally.
