Eligible Projects
May include but are not limited to the acquisition of land and construction of noncongregate shelter (NCS) or acquisition and/or rehabilitation of existing structures such as motels, hotels, or other facilities to be used for NCS. No funds may be used to fund any costs associated with the operation of a non-congregate shelter.
Qualifying Population
HOME-ARP NCS units may only be occupied by individuals or families who are fleeing, or attempting to flee, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking, as defined by the Department of Housing and Urban Development 24 CFR 5.2003.
Eligible Applicants
Eligible applicants may be Nonprofit, governmental, and/or quasi-governmental agencies; housing authorities; for profit entities serving the defined Qualifying Population above within the Utah Valley HOME Consortium boundaries (Provo City and Utah County Excluding Eagle Mountain, Alpine and Fairfield).
