Eligibility Criteria
All Organizations applying to Impact100 Little Traverse Bay must be/have the following:
- Tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
- Based in Emmet and/or Charlevoix counties
- All funds must be fully expended within Emmet and/or Charlevoix Counties to serve residents of these communities
- Not have any pending or threatened claims or litigation against your organization
Initiatives eligible to apply for the Impact100 Little Traverse Bay grant must:
- Be a new program, capital project, expansion of an existing program or a new or expanded collaborative effort of two or more nonprofit organizations
- Have a total project budget for the full Impact100 available grant
- Expend funds within 12 months of the award date or notify Impact100 Little Traverse Bay of timeline changes
- Grant applicants must have a plan for sustainability
- Provide at least three full years of Form 990 and financial statements. Financial statements may be audited or reviewed (suggested, but not required) or internal financial statement
- Two or more nonprofits may collaborate on a transformative project and submit a joint application, but the lead applicant must satisfy the stated eligibility requirements
- Grant recipient must submit periodic progress reports and work with Impact100 Little Traverse Bay Grant Chairs throughout the duration of the grant period
