This program will provide grants to museums, heritage areas, history organizations and sites, other nonprofits, state, county, and municipal governments, and tribal entities throughout the state of Maryland.
Goals
The goals of this grant program are to:
- Attract and expose undergraduate and graduate students, and recent graduates to history organizations and related occupations throughout the state of Maryland via a paid internship working closely with a mentor on a meaningful project.
- Support inclusive, community-centered research, events, programs, projects, or exhibitions offered by museums, heritage areas, history organizations and sites, other nonprofits, state, county, and municipal governments, and tribal entities.
Funding Information
Grants of up to $7,500 will be awarded.
