The Girls Leadership Programs foster highly competent and confident leaders, focused on strengthening the unique talents of girls from rural communities. They believe leadership can take many forms, and no prior experience is required to join programs.
Participants attend three multi-day retreats throughout the year, where they work on developing a community project. Between retreats, they receive one-on-one mentoring for continuous support and guidance as they bring their project to life.
GLP participants must be Montana residents – inclusive of the sovereign tribal nations within Montana.The Flagship GLP is offered at NO COST to participants. Travel to and from the retreat location is the responsibility of the participant.

Eligibility Criteria
The RAPF GLP consists of 8-10 girls entering their junior year of high school and 8 – 10 mentors from across Montana. Girls from every community, regardless of size, are welcome to apply. Some girls come with leadership experience from sports teams, community or school organizations, and for some, this is the first time trying something like this. All backgrounds are welcome. They just require a commitment to participating and learning from each other.
