The 2026 Neighborhood Mini-Grant project categories are:
- Healthy Neighborhood: Fostering a healthy community through conservation, environmental stewardship, or healthy lifestyles.
- Safe Neighborhood: Projects or programs that prepare residents with knowledge and tools that teach them how to prevent, confront, and/or respond to situations that threaten the safety of the community.
- Engaged Neighborhood: Unique projects that engage and bring neighbors together.
Funding Information
Grant funding can be reimbursed up to the amount awarded or may be utilized for direct purchases as outlined in the award notification. $5,000 is the maximum amount awarded to a neighborhood organization for the Mini-Grant Program.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Homeowners Association, Neighborhood Civic Association, Condominium Association, or Neighborhood Association
- Must be located within Hillsborough County. This includes the cities of Tampa, Temple Terrace, and Plant City
- Must be listed in the Neighborhood Listing before applying for the Mini-Grant.
