There is $2 million allocated to Energy Efficiency projects (FI-25-01.1) and $200,000 allocated to Electric Fleet Vehicle and Charging Stations (FI-25-01.2).

Eligible Projects
The following Energy Efficiency projects are eligible for funding:
- Air Filtration
- Replacement and/or Sealing of Windows and Doors
- Indoor/Outdoor Energy Efficient Lighting
- Electric Fleet Vehicles and Charging Stations (includes battery-electric and fuel-cell)
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants under the Facility Improvements Program include those that serve sensitive populations most affected by port operations. Sensitive populations are children, pregnant women, older adults, the chronically ill, and individuals with respiratory and/or cardiopulmonary disorders and illnesses. Eligible facilities include:
- Facilities that serve children, such as licensed daycare centers, schools, after school programs, or youth centers/recreation facilities primarily serving children
- Facilities that serve pregnant women, such as WIC and prenatal centers.
- Facilities that serve older adults, including skilled nursing facilities, assisted living centers, adult day care facilities and other facilities licensed under the California Health and Safety Code
- Facilities that serve the chronically ill, including hospitals, clinics, hospice facilities, and other related health facilities licensed under the California Health and Safety Code
- Community centers designated as a senior center by a public agency
Public and private agencies are eligible to apply. Facilities with licensing requirements under the California Health and Safety Code will be required to provide a State License number in grant applications.
