Up to $25,000 is available.
Eligibility Criteria
- Location
- Must be located in an unincorporated area of San Joaquin County and outside of city limits.
- Must be located in a Qualified Census Tract or Difficult Development Area.
- Requirements
- Be a commercial or industrial zoned property.
- Be a property that is in good standing with the County with no outstanding fees, judgements, liens or violations.
- Applicant must be the property owner or have written approval from property owner.
- Must be street facing façade improvements.
- Have experienced a loss or impact due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
- Scope of Work
- Structural restoration, window and door replacements, exterior finishes (paint, siding, stone/brick veneer, stucco, etc), awnings/canopies, exterior lighting affixed to building, signage, outdoor dining enclosures.
- Must be within a $25,000 budget.
- A prior façade project must not be underway.
Ineligible Businesses
Religious organizations, liquor stores, check cashing facilities, cannabis dispensaries, national chains or franchises, gas stations, and residential buildings (e.g. apartments, single-family homes) without a mixed-use component. San Joaquin County reserves the right to deem additional businesses ineligible.
