- Requests exceeding $15,000 will not be considered.
Grand Period
January 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization or a qualifying governmental or faith-based entity.
- Only one application per Federal EIN will be accepted.
- Applicants must be established in providing programs and services for at least 3 years and have one full fiscal year of financials.
- Applying organizations must have an updated agency listing on NC 211
- Programs must address housing or financial security through direct services, prevention efforts, or system-level initiatives.
- Programs should be based on local data and serve individuals living in Alamance County.
- Programs may be established or new and funding requests may include staff salary costs.
- Applying organizations must be in good standing with applicable reporting, financial, and legal requirements.
- Preference is given to agencies that:
- Actively work to eliminate disparities with an equity lens
- Engage community members, especially those whose voices have traditionally been marginalized
- Have intentional strategies to reach vulnerable, underserved, or marginalized populations
- Collaborate with other initiatives or nonprofits.
