The United Way of Walworth County (UWWC) has been selected as a subrecipient of Walworth County’s American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding made available from the US Department of the Treasury. The purpose of this funding is to mitigate the continuing negative economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic from March 3, 2021 – January 31, 2026 for area non-profit organizations. Eligible expenses for funding include, but are not limited to, staffing costs, infrastructure expansion, increased operational expenses, transportation costs, emergency services, capital improvement projects, PPE or updated health safety procedures, and an increase in scope of services.

- Agency’s principal place of business is in Walworth County
- Agency business is conducted in Walworth County

- Agency has a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number (or is actively working on obtaining UEI number, must have UEI number before any award checks are disbursed)
- Agency has experienced negative economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic from March 3, 2021 – January 31th, 2026.
