Focus Areas
- Healthcare Access
- Support for programs that provide medical or supportive care for low-income, uninsured, homeless, ill, or otherwise vulnerable children, families, and older adults. Including dental and vison care.
- Parks & Recreation
- Support for programs and initiatives that enhance parks, trails, recreational spaces, and the beautification of public green spaces.
- Family Economic Stability & Critical Needs
- Support for programs that provide essential services and promote stability for children, families, older adults, veterans, re-entry and other vulnerable populations experiencing economic hardship, homelessness, illness, or crisis. Eligible efforts may include food access, clothing, emergency and transitional shelter/housing, education and workforce training and other community-based services for low-income and underserved populations.
- Mental & Emotional Health
- Support for programs that advance mental and emotional health through innovative care models, research, education, and community-based interventions, including early intervention, crisis response, expanded access to treatment, stigma reduction, and initiatives that strengthen long-term well-being for individuals and families.
Priorities
- Maternal & Pediatric Health
- Expanding access to quality prenatal, perinatal, and pediatric care for all families across Greater Dallas, with a focus on early intervention, wraparound supports, and health equity.
- Early Learning
- Boosting enrollment in high-quality early childhood education programs, supporting the early educator workforce, and scaling evidence-based literacy and numeracy programs for children ages 0–5.
- Family Economic Stability
- Connecting families to critical resources — food security, job training, childcare access, financial coaching, and legal aid — that build lasting economic resilience.

Eligibility Criteria
- Must have a current IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt designation
- At least 50% of the population served by the grant must reside in Dallas county
- Must operate programs or services that align with 2026 Summer Cycle focus areas and funding priorities
- No restrictions based on operating budget. Organizations with an operating budget of $250,000 or more are generally more competitive.
