- Board commitment to the project, including financial support and active participation
- Project budget, including other funding sources and the amount requested from Story County Community Foundation
- A copy of the organization’s 501(c)(3) designation letter
- A list of the organization’s Board of Directors with contact information including e-mail addresses.
Ineligibility
Grant applications are accepted for projects that strengthen an organization’s capacity to grow funds held with the Story County Community Foundation. Eligible projects may include, but are not limited to:
- Board and governance training or expert consultation
- Strategic planning for the organization’s future
- Development of long-term sustainability and reliable funding strategies
- Acquisition of technology to support development and accountability
- Creation of a marketing plan to grow the organization’s endowment.
