Paul Vos and Marjorie (Van Den Berg) generously supported numerous charities, both financially and as volunteers, within the Pella area. This program will continue their wish to maintain culture, improve society, and enhance the quality of life for the people of Pella.
Paul Vos and Marjorie (Van Den Berg) farmed in the Galesburg and Monroe area until 1986. Living out their Christian faith by helping others in need was important to their lives. They generously supported numerous charities, both financially and as volunteers, within the Pella area.
Prior to Paul’s death in 2022, he partnered with the Pella Community Foundation to create this program which will continue his and Marjorie’s vision to maintain culture, improve society, and enhance the quality of life for the people of Pella.
- The Vos Trust prioritizes faith based organizations and those who serve the disadvantaged.
- All should enhance the quality of life in the community.
- Projects funded should not represent significant duplication of initiatives already undertaken by other nonprofit agencies.
- Due to their generosity, The Vos Trust accepts grant proposals of $5,000 and more to make significant impact in the lives of others.
