The QRCF has provided over $450,000 in grants to the partners in the community since the inception. The QRCF’s local community encompasses ten towns, spanning the Indian River Inlet, south to the MD state line, and from the eastern coast, west to Dagsboro.
It is strongly encouraged and desired that any grant recipient from the QRCF continue to participate with the QRCF in the annual events such as the Hair of the Dog Run and Bunny Palooza. Without the fundraising events each year, the QRCF may be unable to provide further aid to the community. This fundraising is almost solely done by volunteers and they can always use your help.
Types of Grants
- Full Grants
- Full grant applications may be submitted at any time and are reviewed by the grant committee as they deem appropriate and as needed. Generally, grants of this size are part of a partnership with the QRCF either through fundraising efforts or in other ways that make sense for both organizations. Traditionally, larger grants have been awarded in conjunction with participation in the Annual Caribbean Christmas event.
- Mini Grants
- Mini-grant applications may be submitted at any time and are reviewed and awarded quarterly by the grant committee.

Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible candidates must be high school seniors who reside in the towns of Fenwick Island, Bethany Beach, Ocean View, Millville, Clarksville, Selbyville, Frankfurt, Dagsboro, Roxanna, South Bethany, and their surrounding rural areas.
- The checks will be made payable to the college or university and mailed directly to the institution. Scholarships are awarded to cover the cost of tuition expenses only.
- It is strongly encouraged and desired that any recipients of a scholarship from the QRCF continue to participate with QRCF in the annual events such as the Hair of the Dog 5K Run / 1K Walk and Bunny Palooza. Without the fundraising events each year, the QRCF may be unable to provide further aid to the community. The fundraising, solely run by volunteers, is critical and they can always use your help.
