Priorities
Please align your proposal with one or more of the priorities listed below:
- Food Insecurity: Projects that address food insecurity and improve access to nutritious, affordable, and culturally responsive food for individuals and families facing economic hardship. This may include efforts such as food distribution, meal programs, community partnerships, transportation or delivery access, nutrition education, community gardening, or initiatives that strengthen long term food stability and local food systems. Priority may be given to programs serving vulnerable populations, including seniors, children, low-income households, and residents facing barriers to access.
- Housing Affordability and Access: Projects that support access to safe, stable, and affordable housing for individuals and families experiencing housing instability, financial hardship, or barriers to remaining in their homes. This may include eviction prevention, housing navigation and case management, accessibility modifications, critical home repairs, emergency assistance, support for seniors aging in place, tenant education, or programs that connect residents to housing resources and services. The Avon Community Fund recognizes that housing stability can be supported through a wide range of preventative, supportive, and community-based services in addition to housing development itself.
