In 2019, Senior Citizens Services, Inc. (SCS), a former local 501(c)(3) nonprofit, established a fund at Pinellas Community Foundation (PCF). This fund now utilizes SCS’s assets to provide grants to qualified charitable organizations and government entities, supporting the expansion and improvement of direct service programs for Pinellas County residents aged 55 or older.

- The request for funding is specific to the funding priority (Housing, Wellness, or Senior Support Services)
- The application must be completed online and in full
- All funding is awarded on a competitive basis regardless of funding history
- Grantees must agree to acknowledge Senior Citizens Services in external communications.
