The goal is to help scientists become independent researchers in the field. You must propose a research project focused on at least one of the listed NCIPC research priorities related to interpersonal violence, suicide, or both among children and youth, from birth to age 17, as described in the Purpose. You are encouraged to explore:
- Multiple forms of interpersonal violence, suicide, or both, among children and youth.
- Community factors that increase the risk of interpersonal violence, or suicide, or both.
- The practical relevance of the research for prevention and intervention efforts
