The Valley Center School District Education Foundation, in partnership with Central Kansas Community Foundation, is pleased to announce the opening of the 2026 Grant Cycle. This grant opportunity is designed to support Valley Center teachers and staff with classroom needs or innovative classroom needs and educational initiatives that extend beyond the district’s annual operating budget. Applications may be submitted individually or as a team for projects that benefit students. All items purchased with grant funds will remain the property of the district.

Funding Information
- Minimum request: $500
- Maximum request: $2,000
Eligibility Criteria
All eligible applications will be reviewed by the Valley Center School District Education Foundation Board. In making funding decisions, the Board will consider the educational value of the proposed project, anticipated student impact, project feasibility, budget, alignment with the Foundation’s purpose, and available funding. The Board may request additional information if needed. The Central Kansas Community Foundation administers the grant process, verifies applicant eligibility and compliance with grant requirements, and provides administrative support to the Foundation Board. Final funding decisions are made solely by the Valley Center School District Education Foundation Board. Submission of an application does not guarantee funding.
