The Sponsors of Energize CT, partner with community outreach groups to help residents and businesses better understand available energy efficiency programs and offers. The Community Energy Boost Grant supports the goals of the 2025-2027 Conservation and Load Management Plan. Funding for the Energize Connecticut programs comes from a charge on customer energy bills.

Eligibility Criteria
- All applicants must be located within the State of Connecticut and the Sponsors’ service areas in order to apply for the Community Energy Boost Grant.
- Incorporated nonprofit organizations, community groups, chambers of commerce and councils of governments may apply independently. Municipal committees (including energy task forces, energy and sustainability committees) must be paired with their municipality to apply. Municipalities must partner with an organization on their application and subsequent grassroots organizing, public education and engagement activities during the program period.
