Give Chippewa County connects multiple generations of generous individuals that want to give back to Chippewa County. By coming together, the members provide near-term support through grants and long-term support through the building of an endowment fund that is designed to create perpetual support to the community.
Give Chippewa County was created with the goal to provide an opportunity to pool resources with others to continue the generous spirit of Chippewa County.

Eligibility Criteria
- GCC makes grants to public charitable organizations within the IRS Section 170(b)(1)(A) serving the greater Chippewa County area. Applicants will need to submit evidence of their tax status, or another qualified 501(c)(3) organization must agree to serve as fiscal agent.
- Your project must benefit the people and communities of Chippewa County, which meet important community needs and do not duplicate existing services.
- Grants shall be awarded for proposed expenditures, not for previously incurred expenditures.
- GCC does not make grants to organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, ancestry, color, age, familial status, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, lawful sources of income, national origin, or any other discriminatory practice prohibited by state or federal law.
- Generally, grants will not be funded for routine operating expenses, annual campaigns and/or endowments, re-granting by another organization, direct support of individuals, lobbying or political organizations and ongoing/repeating grants to the same project.
